As an environmentally conscious company we make sure that all of our firewood products are manufactured from environmentally approved raw material and production sources, and all forest wood products that we supply come from renewable sources. so you can be safe in the knowledge that none of the trees we use are cut down just for the purpose of firewood or wood burning logs.

The wood used for our log supplies is well seasoned for less moisture and a better burn, while it freely burns without the release of harmful chemicals that can cause damage to the environment and to your chimney. In technical terms it’s better for the environment because the amount of carbon dioxide freed into the atmosphere is the equal to that absorbed by the tree during growth.

Firewood is environmentally friendly because using it results in virtually no ‘fossil’ carbon dioxide being added our environment and limits the effects of climate change when compared to using gas, oil or coal.
